After the untimely death of Len Thompson
at Cadwell Park in June 2004, "The Len Thompson Memorial
Trophy" Drivers Championship was created...
The "Len Thompson Memorial Trophy"
Drivers Champion will be presented with the trophy at the end
of the season,. This prestigious trophy will be kept for one year
by the winner. There is no formal entry to this championship;
you just have to have competed in the nominated races in a Lagonda
Rapier. The 2008 Championship will have many more events and will
expand to form a championship that Len Thompson would have been
proud of, where the achievements of Lagonda Rapiers and there
drivers come first... Good Luck!!

26th of April 2008 - Silverstone Race Meeting
31st of May and the 1st of June 2008 - Donington Park Race Meeting
14th of June 2008 - Oulton Park Race Meeting
17th of August 2008 - Mallory Park Race Meeting
31st of August 2008 - Cadwell Park Race Meeting (which includes the VSCC's "Len Thompson Memorial Trophy", presented by Brenda Thompson)
