"Len Thompson Memorial Trophy" Drivers Championship
The
"Len
Thompson Memorial Trophy" Drivers Champion will be
presented with the trophy at the end of each season, this prestigious
trophy will be kept by the winner for one year. There is no formal entry
to this championship, you just have to have competed in the
nominated races and gained the highest number of points. .

Each years Championship
winner will have his or her name added to the trophy to show
their achievement to future
drivers.
The
2007 Championship will have many more events and will expand
to form a championship that Len Thompson would have been proud
of, where the achievments of Lagonda Rapiers and there drivers
come first.
The
championship will have a relatively complex metric for calculating
the winner due to the type of races entered throughout the
year. These events will include scratch races, handicap races
and class
based races. The rules are defined below. The metric will
remain constant
for this year from this date.
If you have any views on the metric and
how it could be improved, please send your ideas to
championship@lagondarapier.co.uk.
